Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information StreamHush ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using StreamHush you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address and authentication details when you sign up.
  • Billing information: handled by our merchant of record, Paddle. We receive your subscription status and limited billing metadata, but we do not store your full payment card details.
  • Usage data: basic logs about your use of the Service (for example, when the app starts or detects a track) used to operate and improve the product.

Your audio

The StreamHush desktop app processes your audio on your own computer. To identify music, it sends short audio samples to a third-party audio-recognition service for the sole purpose of recognition. We do not record, store, or retain your stream audio, and we never sell your audio.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run StreamHush:

  • Supabase — authentication and database;
  • Paddle — payments, billing, and tax (merchant of record);
  • ACRCloud — audio recognition;
  • Vercel — website hosting.

These providers process data only as needed to deliver their part of the Service.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data retention & your rights

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your associated personal data, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Children

StreamHush is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
